Catherine C. Turner (she/they) has a lifelong love of orchestral music. In high school, she played on trumpet/cornet (including performing at brass band state and national championships) and moved onto playing flute as an adult community musician.

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ and Australian Book of Records (2013) —played piccolo with 7,224 musicians as part of Queensland Music Festival's (QMF) "World’s Biggest Orchestra Challenge" at Suncorp Stadium. So, I’m registered as a ‘Participant’ in the 'World's Largest Orchestra' (Guinness Records) and 'Largest Woodwind Ensemble' (Australia Records)
